This movie was AWESOME! I can honestly say that it was everything that I wanted it to be (and maybe a little more)!! Now I highly recommend that you read the book BEFORE you watch the movie, it will mean so much more to you (well, doesn't it always?). There has been some controversy over the book and movie, people are saying that Elizabeth Gilbert (author of the book) was so self indulgent and made everything about her...hello, the book is about a woman who never had time to figure out who the heck she was until she was 31 and it's about a trip she takes in order to discover herself. It's wonderful! The movie was tastefully done, I felt like Julia Roberts (love her!) captured the essence of the character. The scenery was gorgeous, the food looked delicious, her hair and outfits were incredible and I have to admit that Felipe was easy on the eyes. I highly, highly recommend the movie and the book. 5 out of 5 stars

Good to know...I want to see if I can make some time to go see it. Of course, I haven't read the book yet so will need to do that first.

I think that people who don't get what this woman's path was about may need to do some serious self discovery. I think Eat, Pray, Love should be required reading. just some thoughts.
